State sells 26 expired liquor licenses, including two in Central Pa.
Two expired restaurant liquor licenses have been sold in Central Pennsylvania, part of a bundle of 26 licenses auctioned off last week by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The board said Friday that Altoona-based convenience-store chain Sheetz was the highest bidder, paying $283,700 for a liquor license in York County.
Berks County supermarket chain Redner’s Markets Inc. paid $151,000 for a liquor license in Lebanon County.
