Heather started waitressing at a small restau- rant in Florida, at the young age of eighteen. When Heather moved back home to Pennsylvania, she started working at Kokomos as a bartender and quickly worked her way up to managing, by the age of twenty-one. She contributes her promotions to hard worker and expand- ing her knowledge base. She would also ask a lot of ques- tion. Heather has been working in the restaurant indus- try for over fifteen years.
Heather’s favorite thing about her job is making up new drinks for people. Her advice for others wanting to be a good bartender, is to learn to multi task and carry multiple drink orders at one time. She states “no one likes to wait for service”. When Heather is not creating new cocktails for her customers, she is a full-time student. She doesn’t get a lot of free time but when she does, she enjoys traveling, looking at art and a enjoying a nice glass of wine.
