December 2016: Note Bistro & Wine Bar, Ruth Pratt
“A comfortable neighborhood gathering place for local residents”
Ruth Pratt did not start out in the restaurant industry but three years ago she decided to do something special. Ruth being a food lover, decided to open up an establishment that she felt was unique to Harrisburg. Ruth spent three years planning and searching for the right spot. When the location became available she decided it was the perfect spot. The location having been through several other restaurants Ruth was confident she could make it work. She felt she could “break the curse” and with being able to add a liquor license it would help to create a successful bistro and wine bar. Ruth continues every day to find new ways to improve and grow the business while giving back to the community.
About the Business
