Kelly Flowers first started in the industry to earn additional income. Her brother Jamie, suggested serving. It’s a great way to earn extra money and meet new people. Kelly started her career in the restaurant industry serving at the Greystone Restaurant. Over the years, she eventually became a bartender and has been doing it ever since then.

In order to be a successful, Kelly believes bartend- ers and mixologists should have a lot of patience and be conscience of the customer’s needs. She also believes that you should always keep smiling even when everything is going wrong. When Kelly isn’t bartending you can find her and Mike walking her dogs or spending time with their friends. Make sure you stop in at Pete’s Olde Towne Bar and Grill and ask her for a Bloody Mary; trust us!

October 2016: The Conewago Inn, Tom & Sharon Roberts
“Let our family, take care of your family”

Business History
Tom & Sharon opened their doors in 2002, they had one goal in mind…. to make their patrons feel welcomed and at ease while serving the best in culinary delights with the most hospitable service possible. This is still their goal after fourteen years. Tom’s family has been in the restaurant business all of their lives. Tom and Sharon finally had an opportunity later in life to provide their family with a chance to own their own restaurant and the rest is history.

About the Business
Through hard work and determination and having a clear vision Tom and Sharon have grown their business over ten fold from the time they opened. They feel blessed to have earned a loyal and reliable customer foundation that continues to support their efforts. Tom and Sharon decided long ago a well-rounded dining experience draws customers to restaurant. The Conewago Inn’s main building dates back to 1860. The building served as a farmhouse until the early 1920’s when enterprising citizens took advantage of it’s prime location and established an inn named for the creek that flows nearby. They remodeled the entire interior and exterior of their very rustic building with its original logs and fireplaces. Tom and Sharon’s motto is “let our family, take care of your family” and they live by their motto. On any day Tom or Sharon are ready to welcome you at the front door and show you to your table. Their Son, Chef John Marks is the creative force behind their amazing food. One of many of the special events at The Conewago Inn is their Christmas show, which has live entertainment and they serve a five-course dinner.

Giving Back
The Conewago Inn supports the North Eastern High School Bearcats throughout the year. They are always ready to feed the entire team including the staff, coaches and cheerleaders. They provide a complimentary dinner prior to Homecoming. Tom and Sharon are very supportive of numerous charities, church groups and civil organizations. They feel it is important to give back to the community. For more information on The Conewago Inn, go to
