1 oz. Gin
1 oz. White Rum
1 oz. Silver Tequila 1/2 oz. Triple Sec 1/2 oz. Cola, or to taste Lemon Garnish
As a young adult, Renee Byrnes frequented a neighborhood bar where over time; she got to know the owners. As time went on, they tried to talk Renee into working for them. She explained that she knew nothing about bartending, but of course, they taught her every- thing she needed to know. In no time at all, Renee found the job of her dreams! Not only does she get to meet new people everyday, but she also enjoys giving good service to regulars and newbies alike.
Renee’s best words of advice for bartenders and mixologists; “Have fun and care about your job. People are in your hands and it’s your position to serve them responsibly and to entertain them as well. Just have fun with it!” Having been at The New Valley Tavern for ten years, Renee has had the opportunity to learn everything there is to know about some of her favorite customers. They ask each other for advice and have managed to form life-long friendships. Please be sure to stop by The New Valley Tavern the next time you’re in Plymouth Meeting. Ask Renee for her famous Long Island Iced Tea!
